What to Pin on Pinterest in June

Blog header Pinterest trends in JuneSummer is here! Do you have an exciting vacation plan coming up?

In the Pinterest universe, however, summer means the seasonal slump in traffic for lots of business Pinterest accounts. This is normal since people are vacationing and less people spend time on the internet.

If you’re utilizing Pinterest to market your business, the roller coaster ride is what makes it exciting, no?!

Don’t I know about those sinking feelings watching the analytics taking a nose dive? Or the elated feelings when it’s going up even just a tiny bit? (Haha… I know I should refrain from checking the Pinterest analytics for my clients’ every single day!!)

Fear not! Even though it’s summer in the United States and lots of people are vacationing, people are still searching Pinterest for graduation, weddings, travel plans and the likes. It’s also good to note that 50% of Pinterest users are international users. So, your potential audience is still out there scrolling Pinterest feeds.

Clutter…

We all have them – stuffs that are just lying around the house untouched and collecting dusts in the closets, garage, or even in plain sight.

At the time I’m writing this post, I am working on table in a makeshift home office/ storage room. This is my view across the desk every single day… 2 luggage and 2 stacked, unused chairs.

The bags were from years ago when my family had to move across the continents leaving behind a life they had built for more than a decade. Instead of donating or selling the clothes, they decided to keep them in a “maybe we’ll need them someday” line of thinking. They paid a hefty shipping fee to move them across the ocean along with other household goods. Years later, those bags are just still sitting there in the corner of the room. Untouched…

The chairs are new additions to the storage room. Recently, my sister had the impulse to replace the perfectly fine and functioning dinning chair set with a new set of chairs that don’t even match the dining table simply because she found a good bargain.

Somehow we have this tendency to accumulate things.

Take a look around you. How do you feel about your living space? Are they clean, tidy and spacious? Or do you feel overwhelmed with stuffs all over the kitchen counter or in the corner of the living room?
